Who we are
This website and booking service are provided by The Restaurant Stars ("we", "us", "our") [registered company name and number, registered address]. By using this website or booking a call, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
What this site is for
This site tells you about our done-for-you operations service for independent UK restaurants and lets you book a free 20-minute demo. The booking is an arrangement to talk, not a contract for the service itself. Becoming a customer happens separately, under a written service agreement.
Booking a call
- When you book, you ask us to hold a time and to contact you about it. We'll send a confirmation, a calendar invite, and reminders or updates if the time changes.
- Please give accurate details so we can reach you. If you give us someone else's contact details, you confirm you're allowed to.
- The call is free and there's no obligation. You can cancel at any time using the link in your confirmation email, or rebook for another time.
- We may need to reschedule occasionally. If we do, we'll offer you another time as soon as we can.
The free calculator and other tools
Our free Wage & Wastage calculator and any figures or examples on the site are estimates to help you think, not financial, accounting or legal advice. They're based on the rough inputs given and general industry ranges, and your real numbers will differ. Please don't rely on them for important decisions without checking against your own figures.
Using the site responsibly
When you use this site, you agree not to:
- use it for anything unlawful, or to break any rule or regulation;
- submit false details, or book calls in bad faith or to disrupt our availability;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its systems or its data, or interfere with how it works;
- copy, scrape or reuse the site's content or design beyond normal, personal viewing.
Our content
The text, design, logo and other content on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share links to it, but you may not reproduce or reuse it commercially without our written permission.
Promises and guarantees
Any guarantees we mention, such as being live in 14 days or your setup is free, and the 60-day money-back period, apply to our paid service and are set out in full in the service agreement you'd sign as a customer. Nothing on this marketing site, on its own, forms that agreement.
The site is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove parts of it. To the extent the law allows, we provide the site without warranties of any kind.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss that wasn't a foreseeable result of using this free website, or for any business losses, since this site is for general information and arranging a call. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
